Hello, Hi, how are you and “Gut Pfad”, we are the tribe Lykàmedas!
We’ve been around since 1998 and we’ve put our heart and soul into scouting ever since. We are around 100 FLINTA* people (mostly girls and some in and around that) and, in addition to the group evenings and trips, we also organize activities with the whole tribe.
A few years ago, we were able to move into our “LykStüb” in the Niendorfer Gehege, which we then renovated and adapted to our needs. As it is located in the forest, the best way to get there is by bike. But even the 10 to 15-minute walk from the Niendorf Markt subway station should not be a problem for healthy legs. As scouts, we naturally make the most of the unique forest location of our house, especially in summer. The wildlife enclosure and a large playground are right next door and offer great opportunities to spend a group evening outdoors. In summer, we also like to sit in our own garden and do handicrafts or play there.
The trips that we make as often as possible, if things go well, are usually with the group and over a weekend, but there is also the opportunity to go on a trip with the tribe or even the whole association every year!
We always have a lot of fun together and we would be all the more pleased if you would like to be part of it. If you are between 9 and 12 years old, just write Raikian an email and let her know which days of the week would suit you best. Our group evenings are Monday to Thursday and usually take place from 5pm to 7pm. Then you can have a look at the whole thing!
People often ask if it’s binding once you’ve been there: of course not. If you don’t like it, you don’t have to come back.
We want to play, sing, do handicrafts, cook and have fun with you. We look forward to seeing you and if you want to know more about us, you can also read this article from the Hamburger Abendblatt.
