We are the tribe “Dietrich von Bern”! We’ve been around for over 50 years and with our approx. 60 members and currently 9 groups, we are not only one of the oldest tribes in the PBN, but also one of the largest boys’ tribes.
You can reach our home in 5 minutes on foot from the bus station “Schulbergredder” or in 10 minutes from the S-Bahn station “Poppenbüttel”.
For our group meetings, we meet in our small but nice scout home at Poppenbüttler Markt 4 once a week. When the weather is good, we have the opportunity to use the large park right outside our door, play near the river Alster, go canoeing, or spend a nice two hours in the small woods in the area around the Alster hiking trail. But even when it rains, storms or snows, we sit together and sing songs or cook something together.
Apart from the home evenings, we go on a group trip once a month, up to 4 times a year on caps with our whole tribe, and as an annual highlight: our big trips in the summer holidays for 10–20 days, depending on the age.
Our home evenings are 2 hours a week (Mon-Thu) between 4pm and 8pm. We are a big, colorful bunch with whom you can experience a lot apart from the normal everyday life.
