The Orion tribe has now existed for over 60 years – what unites all the ones who have been with us during this time? One thing above all: the trip. The trip shows the children (and the older ones among us) over and over again that adventure can be just around the corner. A hike with your own tent and just a box of matches through the district of Harburg with night-time off-road games and singing around the campfire make for eventful weekends. We have always gone on trips as often as possible, usually with the group, but two or three times a year with the whole tribe. When the whole tribe spends the weekend, it is usually in the form of a camp, i.e. from Friday to Sunday in the same place.
